JARAH GIST Exclusive Interview With Victims And Deportees From Libya

Each year for the past 3 years more than 150,000 migrants and refugees have crossed into Europe from Libya in hopes of making their way to a new life and in search of a greener pastures. More than 3,000 people have been drowned each of the past four years trying to cross the mediterranean sea.

Recently migrants and refugees stalk in Libya are being sold into slavery with the help from Italy, the Libyan coast guard has been capturing vessels smuggling people into Europe. it is estimated that between 400 thousand and 1 million  migrants may now be trapped in Libya, they are being sold out as slaves.

On Wednesday 13th December, nearly 250 Nigerian migrants returned to their home country with the help of the Nigerian Government.
