The Attah of Igala & chairman Kogi council of chiefs has endorsed the MISS IGALA NIGERIA BEAUTY PAGEANT.

According to Grace Eleojo Jedie who is the present MISS EXQUISITE NIGERIA & organiser of MISS IGALA NIGERIA BEAUTY PAGEANT, the pageant is a celebration of Igala womanhood, their inner beauty & a showcasing of the culture & heritage of igala land. That the creative industry can generate revenue for the state if properly harnessed is a fact that this pageant hopes to prove, she asserted.

The Kogi state ministry of culture & tourism also endorsed the pageant with the ministry of youth development also throwing their weight behind this epoch high class event & first of its kind in Kogi state & Igala land in particular.
The auditions for MISS IGALA NIGERIA PAGEANT 2016 has just been concluded and out of the 29 ladies who picked the form, only nine scaled through the tough screening and audition which saw a test in their knowledge of IGALA culture & heritage apart from their physical attributes .

The contestants would move into camp on the Tuesday before the event where they shall be groomed and instructed on how to be the next Miss Igala. Three crowns are up for grabs at the pageant, they are MISS IGALA NIGERIA, MISS IGALA CULTURE NIGERIA & FACE OF IGALA NIGERIA  , the event holds at AYINGBA hotel on Saturday 13th August & tickets are already on sale for 100K,50K,25K & regular student ticket goes for 2K.
